Pro's Tip
This hole plays as long as 9 plays short. 450 yards uphill, often into the wind, requires two well struck shots to get home. Whilst the fairway is wide, errant shots can find the trees on the right or deep rough on the left. Another very long narrow green, fully 48 yards long, means distance control with your long iron or fairway wood is critical. Get it wrong and monster putts are left. There are bunkers on both sides and as the green slopes left to right, putts from above the hole can be extremely quick with huge borrows to contend with.
