An exciting opportunity has presented itself for an energetic and vibrant Full-Time Second Chef to be a key player within the catering department at a successful Golf Club.
The Club is rated one of the very best member’s golf courses in the county as well as retaining a vibrant social scene and busy function business. The Second Chef will be fully involved in achieving excellence in the delivery and presentation of fine dining & casual food. This is a responsible position which offers excellent training from a top rated Head Chef, great benefits and an opportunity to join a super friendly team.
Reporting to the Head Chef some of the requirements are:
Great time management
Working pattern mainly straight shifts 5 days from 7 and can include evenings & weekends
Normal working week Tuesday to Saturday
Ability to multi-task
Willingness to learn
Pride in your work
Driver with own car due to location
Ability to work unsupervised
Experience of serving Fresh Food
Understanding of COSHH regulations
Food hygiene qualification
Understanding of Food Allergies
The organisation and ability to cater for larger groups.
Ability to run the Kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
