Course Overview and Slope Rating
Rated in the top 150 golf courses in the British Isles, Mendip is a superbly designed golf course and, together with its magnificent views and tranquil setting, it must surely be one of the finest places anywhere to play golf.
Located on the north facing slope of the Mendips at an elevation of almost 1,000ft the Mendip Golf Club is a challenging par 71 course, measuring 6383 yards from the white tees and suitable for golfers of all abilities.
The fairways of springy downland turf are a pleasure to walk and to play. The undulating Mendip terrain comes into play on many holes and makes the placement of tee shots very important.
