County U16s v Dorset U16s (Ben Enoch Trophy)
Thank you very much for agreeing to host the above match at your club on Sunday 21st May 2023.
The requested arrangements are:
Format- Five x Foursome’s match-play starting at 09.30
Ten x Singles match-play starting at 14.30 (5 tee time as agreed unless availability allows 10!)
Course- Men's Competition Medal Tees Reasonable Pin Positions (6, 6, 6)
G.U.R. areas clearly marked by white lines
Printed notice of any Local Rules not shown on Score Cards
Practice- Would you please grant reasonable requests for a Practice Round from the Dorset players the day before the match at a Junior/reduced rate (unless we have previously agreed tee times for the practice round for either team)
Arrival- 8.30 to 8.45am If you can offer coffee and bacon/breakfast baps to the players on arrival I am sure they would be pleased to order them. Each team will pay for their own breakfast requirements and will pre order wherever possible to assist.
Lunch- A light, one course meal to be served on a rolling basis. A pasta dish with salad and garlic bread would be ideal. We would be happy to hear of any other suggestions from your catering team.
The first Players should be ready to eat by about 12.30 pm.
Evening- A selection of sandwiches and chips for 24 people, served on a rolling basis as the players come in. 6.30 pm would be a good time to start. Please ring me if you are in doubt over choice of food. There will not be a requirement for jackets and ties for the post-match refreshments.
Payment- The account should be sent to me for immediate settlement. The maximum number of meals should be 24 unless the SGU Team Manager authorises otherwise. No other items of expenditure are permissible without the authority of the SGU Team Management or President.
Each County will settle their own bar bill. If the visitors bar bill is not covered at the end of the day, forward it to me and I will immediately pass it on for settlement
The County are very mindful of the extra work this causes you your Staff and Committee and I would ask that you pass on our thanks to all concerned.
