Saturday was bright, windy and the greens were just recovering from the autumn treatment by the greens staff.
The September Tankard was keenly contested, particularly in Division 2 where big Peter Jones had a very fine
round of 63 nett. In fact all nine winning scores in the three divisions were at least two below par.
Despite this the C.S.S. remained at 71.
